Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants. It has some of the largest flowers of any plant.Flowers on the Chinese hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) come in single or double forms and can be 4 to 8 inches wide.In addition to being admired for their ornamental beauty, these flowers have been used for both culinary and medicinal purposes.
