Nucleases are enzymes that can cleave the phosphodiester bonds of polynucleotide chains, called nucleases. Nucleases are hydrolases and act on the P-O position of the phosphodiester bond.
Nuclease is a nucleic acid that acts to hydrolyze the phosphodiester bond between nucleotides in the first step of nucleic acid decomposition. It acts on the phosphodiester bond in higher animals and plants.
Nucleases from different sources have different specificities and modes of action. Some nucleases can only act on RNA, called ribonuclease (RNase), some nucleases can only act on DNA, called deoxyribonuclease (DNase), and some nucleases are less specific and can act on RNA can also act on DNA, so it is collectively called nuclease. Nucleases can be divided into exonucleases and endonucleases according to the different positions of nucleases.
Function&Application
Functions Of Nuclease
1. It can degrade all forms of DNA and RNA
2. Very high nuclease activity, the nucleic acid residue in the sample can be reduced to picogram level after a very short time treatment
3. High stability, strong tolerance, adapt to a variety of operating conditions
4. No animal origin, no antibiotics
5. Production under GMP conditions to meet the large-scale use needs from research and development to production
Application Of Nuclease
Used in health care products, medicine, cosmetics, feed, pesticides, plant ripeners and other industries
