Collection of raw pine pollen: Workers cut down the Ripe Pine Pollen Catkins from the pine tree by hand.
Microwave sterilization: Microwave sterilization machine could avoid high temperature inactive the ingredients in pine pollen powder, since some active ingredients in pine pollen powder may loose their bioactivity at above 40 degree celsius.
Breaking the cell wall: Since the nutrition of pine pollen is protected by hard cell wall which results in poor absorption of nutrition. By pneumatic cracker, the hard cell wall will be broken (ratio>98%) for a better consumption/digestion by human beings.

Uncracked pine pollen is much more golden yellow in color, entwisted with sense of lubrication, easy to lift up in the air. When uncracked pine pollen is shaken in a sealed transparent container, it could be found that it has a better flowability.

In process of cell cracking by high-speed airflow, the appearance and some physical properties undergo a lot changes. The color is changing to lighter yellow. Under the microscope, we could find airbag structures have been separated from pine pollen grain main structure and pine pollen grain is not complete like before. This will result in pine pollen looses its fluid/flowability characteristic, instead cell cracked pine pollen is with a strong adhesivity and is hard to lift up in the air.
