Optiphen™ Plus is a classic paraben-free composite broad-spectrum preservative widely used in global cosmetics. It adopts the synergistic matching system of phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol.

Caprylyl glycol not only serves as auxiliary bacteriostasis, but also reduces the irritation risk of phenoxyethanol, realizing mild and efficient anti-corrosion effect. It avoids parabens, formaldehyde releasers and other controversial preservative components, perfectly matching clean beauty, vegan and sensitive skin-friendly formula positioning, and is the mainstream preservative choice for medium and low irritation daily skincare products.

Formulation Operation Guidelines

1. Adding temperature: Below 60℃, directly add into water phase or post-emulsification low-temperature feeding to avoid high temperature long-time heating affecting activity;
2. Adding sequence: Add after basic formula mixing is completed, stir evenly at room temperature;
3. Compatible with bisabolol, tranexamic acid, zinc PCA, hyaluronic acid and most conventional cosmetic actives;
4. Avoid strong alkaline environment above pH 8.0, which will weaken its bacteriostatic activity;
5. Standard recommended dosage can cover conventional daily cosmetic anti-corrosion challenge test requirements.
