3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid is a high-stability modified derivative of traditional L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). Compared with ordinary vitamin C which is easy to oxidize, turn yellow and deactivate, VC ethyl ether introduces ethyl group to optimize molecular structure, greatly improving oxidation resistance and formula stability without discoloration in long-term storage.

Benefiting from its amphipathic solubility, this ingredient can be freely added to either water phase or oil phase of emulsified skincare formulas. It can penetrate the stratum corneum smoothly into the dermal layer. Formulation Operation Tips

Add this ingredient at low-temperature stage below 40℃ in production; avoid strong alkaline environment and high-temperature long-time heating to retain maximum biological activity of VC ethyl ether. It can be put into water phase directly, or pre-dissolved in ethanol then mixed into oil phase for emulsification systems.
