Glycoursodeoxycholic Acid (CAS 64480-66-6) is a glycine-conjugated bile acid. It appears as white to off-white powder and is soluble in water at neutral pH; more hydrophilic than the free acid. In formulation work it behaves as a natural surfactant: it aggregates into micelles and helps solubilise oils, fats and lipophilic actives.
